Senate Bill 33 Summary

• Amends 27A O.S. 2011, Section 2-7-118 to modify exemptions for hazardous waste recycling facilities from subsection C of Section 2-7-113.1 and Section 2-7-115

• Off-site hazardous waste recycling facilities remain subject to Oklahoma Hazardous Waste Management Act, Uniform Environmental Permitting Act, and Board-promulgated design standards

• Facilities existing on July 1, 1990 may voluntarily file permit applications but are not required to do so under the Oklahoma Hazardous Waste Management Act

• Removes provisions prohibiting burning of hazardous waste fuel with heating values less than 5,000 British Thermal Units per pound and blending restrictions

• Effective date: November 1, 2013
