Transfers regulation of fire extinguishers from the State Department of Health to the Office of the State Fire Marshal, including all personnel, records, equipment, funds, and financial obligations

Restructures the Fire Extinguisher Industry Committee from 7 to 7 members, with 6 appointed by the State Fire Marshal Commission (5 with industry experience, 1 fire service representative) instead of the State Board of Health

Replaces all references to the State Commissioner of Health, State Board of Health, and State Department of Health with State Fire Marshal and State Fire Marshal Commission throughout the Fire Extinguisher Licensing Act

Authorizes the State Fire Marshal Commission to promulgate rules for licensure, regulation, enforcement, and fee schedules for fire extinguisher companies, managers, technicians, and salespersons

Effective date of November 1, 2013
