SB 567 Summary

• Amends 47 O.S. 2011, Section 14-103G regarding annual vehicle permits for oversized or overweight loads that cannot be dismantled.

• Clarifies language by replacing "Title 47 of the Oklahoma Statutes" with "this title" in registration requirements for permitted vehicles operating at maximum weight.

• Maintains existing permit conditions including size/weight limits (12 feet wide, 14 feet high, 110 feet long, 120,000 pounds gross weight) and $4,000 annual nonrefundable fee.

• Allows permits to be transferred between vehicles in a permittee's fleet under specified conditions, including for destroyed vehicles or when title transfers to another party.

• Effective date: November 1, 2013.
