ENR. S. B. NO. 596 Summary

• State Auditor and Inspector must consider agency conformance to strategic plan and management and performance report when conducting performance audits of state agencies.

• Each state agency must submit annual program management and performance report by October 1 to legislative committees (House Appropriations and Budget Committee, Senate Appropriations Committee, Senate Finance Committee) and Director of Office of Management and Enterprise Services.

• Reports must include detailed data on agency programs using evaluation factors from Section 45.9 of Title 62, cost avoidance measures, fee structure methodology, customer satisfaction measurement, non-core programs, and costs of non-core operations.

• Office of Management and Enterprise Services shall post all reports on documents.ok.gov website and notify the Governor, President Pro Tempore of Senate, and Speaker of House of such posting.

• Effective date: November 1, 2013.
