Senate Bill 665 Summary

• Amends 43A O.S. 2011, Section 3-415 regarding certification of alcohol and drug treatment facilities by the Board of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services.

• Changes language from facilities which "provide" treatment services to facilities "providing" treatment services for alcohol- and drug-dependent persons.

• Maintains existing framework requiring only certified facilities to receive and assist alcohol- and drug-dependent persons, with violations constituting a misdemeanor.

• Effective date: November 1, 2013.
