Property and casualty insurance companies may post standard policies and endorsements on their website instead of mailing or delivering them, provided the policies do not contain personally identifiable information.

Insurers must ensure policies are easily accessible, allow customers to print and save electronic copies, and archive all policies for five years after expiration.

Insurers must provide notice at policy issuance and renewal explaining how customers can obtain paper or electronic copies of their specific policy and endorsements at no charge.

Declaration pages must clearly identify which policy and endorsement forms were purchased by each insured customer.

The act becomes effective November 1, 2013.
