Amends 70 O.S. 2011, Section 3-136 to remove language prohibiting charter schools from offering curriculum similar to that provided by the Oklahoma School for the Blind or Oklahoma School for the Deaf

Removes the restriction that stated "No charter school shall be chartered for the purpose of offering a curriculum for deaf or blind students that is the same or similar to the curriculum being provided by or for educating deaf or blind students that are being served by the Oklahoma School for the Blind or the Oklahoma School for the Deaf"

Amends Section 13-112.1 (70 O.S. Supp. 2012) to modify school district notification requirements regarding programs for students with auditory or visual impairments while maintaining parental notification obligations

Updates language to provide general information about available programs rather than specifically referencing the Oklahoma School for the Blind and Oklahoma School for the Deaf
