• Expands criminal background check requirements for child care facility owners, employees, and residents to include national fingerprint searches, Oklahoma State Courts Network searches, and Sex Offender Registry checks, with compliance deadline of November 1, 2016

• Updates references throughout the Act from "Commission for Human Services" to "Department of Human Services" to reflect agency reorganization

• Modifies Child Care Restricted Registry procedures to include recording individuals based on abuse/neglect findings, license revocations, and specified criminal history, while adding safeguards for notice and opportunity for review

• Becomes effective November 1, 2013
