Amends 12 O.S. 2011, Section 1171 to add a new subsection C regarding employer liability in garnishment proceedings

Prohibits employers required to garnish wages, earnings, or other income from an employee pursuant to court-ordered garnishments from being held liable for any debt or obligation of that employee

The protection applies to employers complying with all types of postjudgment garnishments, including income assignments for child support, noncontinuing and continuing earnings garnishments, and general garnishments

Effective date is November 1, 2013
