SB 96 Summary

• Amends Oklahoma Open Meeting Act (25 O.S. 2011, Section 307.1) to modify videoconference meeting requirements

• Reduces in-person presence requirement from a full quorum to two-thirds (2/3) of the quorum for meetings held by videoconference

• Requires public bodies to post meeting notice and agenda in advance specifying all videoconference locations and which members will participate from each site

• Prohibits executive sessions from being conducted via videoconference, and mandates all votes during videoconference meetings be recorded by roll call vote

• Effective November 1, 2013
