SB970 Summary

• Allows members of the Senate Health and Human Services Committee and House Long Term Care and Senior Services Committee to receive annual updates on the 2009 Final Report of the Task Force on the Effect of Alzheimer's Disease in Oklahoma.

• Requires electronic copies of the 2009 Final Report to be distributed to committee members for purposes of reviewing Task Force recommendations and proposing revisions.

• Permits organizations within the State of Oklahoma serving persons diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease to distribute electronic information related to the 2009 Final Report.

• Creates a new law codified in Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1-87955 of Title 63.

• Takes effect November 1, 2013.
