Congratulates Kayla Wilson for being named the 2012 Wendy's High School Heisman winner for the State of Oklahoma, a national contest recognizing elite high school athletes based on performance on and off the field.

Recognizes Wilson's basketball accomplishments, including leading Mooreland Bearcats to three Orient Conference Championships and three Oil Center Classic Championships, earning "Most Inspirational Player" honors in 2011 and "Top 50 Oklahoma Girls Basketball Player" recognition by VYPE magazine.

Acknowledges Wilson's track and field success as the 2011 2A State Champion in Long Jump with a jump of 18 feet, 1.75 inches, plus top-five state finish in 100 meter dash and sixth-place finish in 400 meter dash.

Notes Wilson's four-year varsity softball career, earning All-VYPE, All-Region, and All-State recognition her senior year while helping team achieve regional runner-up finish.

Directs distribution of a copy of this resolution to Kayla Wilson; adopted by the Senate on April 11, 2013.
