HB 1033 Summary

• Amends 10A O.S. 2011, Section 1-6-103 regarding inspection of juvenile court and Department of Human Services records pertaining to children.

• Permits attorneys representing a parent involved in a child custody or visitation proceeding to inspect certain court records without a court order (new subsection 4 added to the statute).

• Adds the parent's attorney to the list of persons who may inspect these confidential records upon showing proper credentials and pursuant to their lawful duties.

• Becomes effective November 1, 2013.
