HB 1358 Summary

• Amends 47 O.S. 2011, Section 11-1116 to allow all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) and utility vehicles to operate on certain roads with restrictions

• ATVs may operate on county roads in unincorporated areas if the board of county commissioners approves such operation and the roadway has a posted speed limit of 45 mph or less

• Utility vehicles may operate on city streets with a speed limit of 45 mph or less if the municipal governing body has adopted an ordinance allowing such operation

• Maintains existing restrictions on minibikes, golf carts, and ATVs for other road types and conditions (including requirements for daylight hours, direct crossings, and valid driver licenses)

• Effective date: November 1, 2013
