ENR. H. B. NO. 1759 Summary

• Designates 23 Oklahoma roads and bridges as memorials, including the Maestro Kenneth Kilgore Memorial Bridge on Interstate 44 in Oklahoma City and the LCpl Hatak-Yuka-Keyu Martin Yearby USMC Memorial Bridge on U.S. Highway 77 in Love County.

• Establishes memorial designations for highways honoring military personnel, veterans, and public servants, including the PFC Albert E. Schwab Medal of Honor Memorial Highway, Veterans Memorial Highway, and Cost of Freedom Memorial Bridge.

• Requires the Department of Transportation to place suitable permanent markers on all designated roads and bridges bearing their respective memorial names.

• Repeals 69 O.S. 2011, Section 1673, which previously governed memorial highway designations.
