HB 2336 Summary

• Amends 74 O.S. 2011, Section 1004 (Interlocal Cooperation Act) to modify exceptions to authorized interlocal agreements between public agencies

• Adds specific statutory exemptions to Attorney General approval requirements for agreements authorized by Section 36-113 of Title 11, Section 339 of Title 19, or Section 601 of Title 69 of the Oklahoma Statutes (such agreements only require district attorney approval instead)

• Maintains existing requirements that all other interlocal agreements must be submitted to the Attorney General for approval within 60 days before becoming effective

• Becomes effective November 1, 2014
