H.B. 2349 Summary

• Amends 21 O.S. 2011, Section 1025 regarding bawdy houses and places for unlawful sexual intercourse or lewd purposes to increase the fine from $100-$500 to $2,000 per offense.

• Modifies 21 O.S. 2011, Section 1040.8 to increase the minimum fine for obscene materials violations from not exceeding $1,000 to not less than $2,000.

• Establishes enhanced penalties for child pornography violations, requiring imprisonment of not less than 3 years and not more than 20 years, with a fine of not less than $10,000.

• Creates mandatory increased penalties for second and subsequent child pornography convictions: imprisonment of not less than 10 years and not more than 30 years, with a fine of not less than $20,000.

• Becomes effective November 1, 2014.
