• Removes the limitation on the number of bonds a bail bondsman can write per year in their county of residence and other counties

• Allows bail bondsmen to register licenses in either the sheriff's office or district court clerk's office (not both) in their county of residence

• Requires bail bondsmen registering in counties outside their residence to file a certified copy of their license with the district court clerk and pay a $10 fee per county annually

• Mandates that district court clerks provide a list of approved bondsmen to judges and law enforcement; allows courts to set bail in counties with no licensed bondsmen
