HB 2467 Summary

• Creates new felony offense (Title 21, Section 1176 of Oklahoma Statutes) for disclosing intimate images without consent with intent to cause emotional distress

• Prohibits disclosure of photographs, films, videos, or other reproductions showing another person's intimate body parts or engaged in sexual acts/contact without that person's consent

• Defines "intimate body parts" as genitals, pubic area, buttocks, or female breast areola

• Establishes criminal penalty of up to 5 years imprisonment and/or $25,000 fine for violations

• Effective date: November 1, 2014
