• Amends 21 O.S. 2011, Section 1280.1 regarding possession of firearms on school property.

• Adds new exceptions allowing concealed or unconcealed weapons on private school property if the person is licensed under the Oklahoma Self-Defense Act and the private school has adopted a policy authorizing such possession.

• Allows firearms for certified hunter training courses, hunting/fishing safety programs, recognized firearms sports competitions, and living history reenactments with principal approval.

• Permits veterans group members, National Guard, active military, Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC), and Junior ROTC to possess unloaded and inoperable firearms for approved ceremonies, assemblies, or educational programs on school property.

• Effective date is November 1, 2014.
