HB2518 Summary

• Amends 29 O.S. 2011, Section 4-114 to require lifetime hunting and fishing licensees to be legal residents who have resided in Oklahoma for at least 6 months and intend to remain residents.

• Establishes lifetime license fees: $200 for fishing, $600 for hunting, $750 for combination; senior citizens (65+) pay $15 for hunting or fishing, $25 for combination.

• Disabled veterans with 60% or more disability rating may purchase lifetime combination licenses for $25; those with less than 60% disability pay $200.

• Requires purchasers of standard lifetime licenses to also buy a Lifetime Oklahoma Wildlife Land Stamp for $25, with $20 per stamp funding wildlife land acquisition and $5 funding land management.

• Allows residents under 18 to pay lifetime license fees in installments over 3 years; license becomes valid only after full payment is received.
