ENGR. H. B. NO. 2520 Summary

• Amends 21 O.S. 2011, Section 1290.18 regarding the Oklahoma Self-Defense Act to modify handgun license application form requirements

• Modifies item 15 of the application form to allow applicants to provide either the last four digits of their Social Security number OR, at the applicant's option, all nine digits of their Social Security number

• All other existing application form requirements remain unchanged, including personal information, citizenship status, physical descriptions, training certificates, and sworn attestations

• Becomes effective November 1, 2014
