HB2532 Summary

• Amends 22 O.S. 2011, Section 18 to modify criminal record expungement procedures in Oklahoma

• Changes Category 11 expungement timing requirement from 10 years after conviction to 10 years after issuance of a pardon for nonviolent felony offenses

• Applies to persons convicted of nonviolent felonies who have received a full pardon, have no other convictions, and have no pending charges

• Maintains that expunged records under Categories 8-12 remain sealed to the public but accessible to law enforcement for law enforcement purposes

• Effective date: November 1, 2014
