HB 2561 Summary

• Prohibits any agency, board, commission, or other state governmental entity organized within the executive department from authorizing salary increases exceeding 20% in any fiscal year.

• Creates a new section of law to be codified as Section 7001 of Title 62 of the Oklahoma Statutes.

• Becomes effective July 1, 2014, and is declared an emergency measure to take effect immediately upon passage and approval.
