• Amends 10 O.S. 2011, Section 7502-1.2 to expand venue options for adoption proceedings in Oklahoma district courts.

• Permits adoption proceedings to be brought in the county where the petitioners or child resides, in Tulsa County, in Oklahoma County, or where termination proceedings took place, at the election of the petitioners.

• Changes "reside" to "resides" in the statute language for grammatical consistency.

• Becomes effective November 1, 2014.
