HB 2627 Summary

• Amends 37 O.S. 2011, Section 511 regarding the Alcoholic Beverage Laws Enforcement (ABLE) Commission and personnel restrictions

• Reduces the post-employment restriction period for ABLE Commission members, directors, assistant directors, and employees from two (2) years to six (6) months before they can accept employment in the liquor industry or represent licensees before the Commission

• Maintains existing prohibitions on ABLE Commission personnel from having felony convictions, financial interests in alcoholic beverage businesses, accepting gifts from licensees, and engaging in political campaigns

• Preserves provisions allowing state lodges to obtain mixed beverage or bottle club licenses and permitting public buildings to be leased to license holders
