HB 2701 Summary

• Amends 74 O.S. 2011, Section 130.20 (Alternative Fuels Technician Certification Act) to allow certified technicians to work on vehicles and equipment they own.

• Permits persons certified as alternative fuels equipment technicians, alternative fuels compression technicians, or electric vehicle technicians to perform work on their own personal vehicles or equipment without restriction.

• Maintains existing certification requirements for technicians performing work on vehicles/equipment owned by others.

• Includes emergency clause for immediate effective date upon passage and approval.
