• Establishes new graduation requirements for students seeking a standard diploma from public high schools accredited by the State Board of Education

• Students must complete curriculum requirements under Section 11-103.6 of Title 70, testing requirements under Section 1210.508, attendance requirements set by their district, and any other district-established graduation requirements

• Repeals 70 O.S. 2011, Section 1210.523 (as amended in 2013), which previously required mastery of state academic content standards in designated subjects

• Effective date is July 1, 2014, with an emergency declaration allowing the act to take effect immediately upon passage and approval
