HB 2934 Summary

• Amends 72 O.S. 2011, Section 7 to provide free admission to all state-owned and state-operated parks and museums for honorably discharged veterans who are Oklahoma residents.

• Requires presentation of a valid Oklahoma driver license or state photo identification card along with military discharge papers (DD Form 214) or similar evidence of honorable discharge from the United States Armed Forces for free admission.

• Establishes that a valid Oklahoma driver license or identification card issued by the Department of Public Safety with a veteran flag emblem and the word "veteran" in the upper left-hand corner shall be sufficient alone for free admission to state parks and museums.

• Effective date: November 1, 2014.
