HB 2951 Summary

• Amends 19 O.S. 2011, Section 130.2 to modify the duties of the Commission on County Government Personnel Education and Training

• Expands the professional development training program to include "candidates for county office and any other persons" in addition to current county officials and employees

• Maintains the Commission's existing duties to oversee training programs, provide guidance on curricula design, identify research needs, cooperate with advisory boards, and contract with Oklahoma State University's Cooperative Extension Service

• Takes effect November 1, 2014
