• Requires judges presiding over any action to disclose to all parties if any party has contributed funds to the judge's campaign for judicial office

• Defines "judge" to include Justices of the Supreme Court, Judges of the Court of Criminal Appeals, Judges of the Court of Civil Appeals, district judges, and associate district judges

• Defines "judicial office" as all elective positions for the covered judicial positions listed above

• Defines "party" or "parties" as any plaintiff, defendant, or attorney of record in the action

• Becomes effective November 1, 2014
