HB 3055 Summary

• Amends 69 O.S. 2011, Section 1510 relating to special maintenance projects on roads and bridges

• Increases the dollar threshold from $250,000 to $500,000 for projects that state special maintenance crews may perform

• Allows the Transportation Commission to authorize state crews to perform projects above $500,000 if deemed in the state's best interests

• Permits special maintenance projects involving asphaltic material overlay to be contracted out if the Commission determines it serves the state's interests

• Effective date: November 1, 2014
