• Amends 70 O.S. 2011, Section 4511 to clarify language related to continuous school programs in Oklahoma public schools.

• Authorizes all public school districts to establish, maintain and operate educational programs on a year-round (continuous) basis.

• Allows school boards to implement continuous school programs in one or more schools within a district, or across the entire district, after notifying the State Superintendent of Public Instruction.

• Makes clarifying edits to existing statutory language without substantively changing the authorization for continuous school programs.

• Effective date: November 1, 2014.
