HB 3341 Summary

• Amends 70 O.S. 2011, Section 1-102 relating to the scope, organization and definitions of the Oklahoma School Code.

• Changes language in the statute from "such" to "this" when referring to the state system of public school education.

• Clarifies that the purpose of the Oklahoma School Code is to provide for a state system of public school education and for the establishment, organization, operation and support of this state system.

• Becomes effective November 1, 2014.
