The original building plan featured nearly symmetric stepped blocks with 200,000 square feet of space, designed to instill pride through its architecture and its reference to native son Will Rogers

Over 40,000 alumni of Will Rogers High School have led the country in military service, economics, education, entrepreneurship, and entertainment

Resolution directs distribution of copies to Dr. Keith Ballard (Superintendent of Tulsa Public Schools), Jo Anne Meade Lewis (Chair and President of the Will Rogers High School Community Foundation), and Principal Cheryl Carter
