• Modifies 22 O.S. Sections 991a and 991c to allow district attorneys to supervise certain offenders on suspended and deferred sentences, in addition to Department of Corrections supervision.

• Requires offenders on probation or deferred sentences (unless supervised by district attorney) to pay $40 per month directly to the Office of the District Attorney to compensate for prosecution and compliance verification costs.

• Allows district attorneys to waive all or part of the $40 monthly payment requirement in the best interests of justice, while courts cannot waive this requirement.

• Makes the bill's provisions effective immediately as an emergency measure to address cost-sharing and supervision modifications in the criminal justice system.
