SB 1177 Summary

• Amends 47 O.S. 2011, Section 1135.2 to add a new category (47) of special license plates for Combat Action Ribbon recipients.

• Combat Action Ribbon Recipient License Plates shall be designed to honor recipients who present proper certification from the United States Department of the Navy.

• The license plate shall include the Combat Action Ribbon earned by the recipient and may be applied for each vehicle with a rated carrying capacity of one ton or less.

• Effective date: November 1, 2014.
