Licensed vendors operating snack bars or vending facilities in the State Capitol complex through the Business Enterprise Program may contract for supplementary catering services during the regular legislative session in consultation with the program.

Outside vendors providing supplementary catering services may only operate during February through May in temporary, easily moveable facilities that require no significant remodeling, subject to State Capitol Building Manager approval.

Any supplementary catering contracts shall not affect the license or permit of existing food service providers authorized through the Business Enterprise Program.

Any affected agency is authorized to promulgate rules necessary to implement the provisions of this act.

The bill is declared an emergency and takes effect immediately upon passage and approval.
