• Removes exemption for nursing homes licensed by Oklahoma from registration requirements under the Uniform Controlled Dangerous Substances Act

• Requires nursing homes to obtain annual registration with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs Control and pay registration fees of $140.00 per year

• Expands fees for home care agencies, hospices, and home care services to include nursing homes in the annual registration fee structure of $140.00

• Requires nursing homes and other covered facilities to submit controlled dangerous substances scheduled for destruction to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation or Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs Control

• Takes effect November 1, 2014
