SB 1265 Summary

• Amends 47 O.S. 2011, Section 14-109 to modify motor vehicle weight and load regulations on Oklahoma roads and highways

• Adds new exception allowing feed mill trucks transporting feed to and from farms to operate under existing exceptions for timber, pulpwood, oil field equipment, and grain transport vehicles

• Feed mill trucks operating under this exception must be registered for maximum allowable rate, cannot exceed 5% of gross weight limits, and are prohibited from operating on Interstate highways

• Feed mill trucks operating under the exception must purchase an annual special overload permit for $100

• Effective date: November 1, 2014
