SB 1331 Summary

• Directs the State Department of Education to provide academic performance reports for students in state agency custody, including report card grades, standardized assessment results, and Oklahoma State Testing Program results

• Makes student performance reports available to the Department of Human Services and Office of Juvenile Affairs through the Passport Program created under Title 10A

• Amends the Passport Program to allow the Office of Juvenile Affairs limited access to a secure database containing student performance information for youth in their custody

• Effective July 1, 2014, with an emergency declaration allowing immediate implementation upon passage and approval
