Amends Oklahoma law (21 O.S. Section 1289.6) regarding conditions under which firearms may be carried in the state.

Prohibits law enforcement officers from disarming or physically restraining a person carrying an unconcealed firearm on property the person owns, leases, rents, or legally controls, provided there is no reasonable and articulable suspicion of other criminal activity.

Permits loaded and unloaded firearms to be carried openly without a handgun license for lawful self-defense and self-protection on legally controlled property, hunting, sporting events, military functions, and other legitimate purposes.

Effective date: November 1, 2014.
