SB1418 Summary

• Corporation Commission must promulgate rules within 60 days of the bill's effective date governing reporting requirements for oil field waste disposal in commercial solid waste sites

• Oil and gas operators disposing of drilling fluids and solids in commercial solid waste disposal sites must generate records, reports, and/or manifests that include generator, waste source, volume, and disposal site information

• Commission shall require drilling waste material disposal information to be recorded and maintained in the same manner as other authorized disposal methods, with reporting requirements no more or less stringent than other disposal methods

• Commission must make drilling waste disposal information available to the public in the same manner as similar information for other disposal methods

• This act is not to be codified in the Oklahoma Statutes
