SB 1450 Summary

• Amends 63 O.S. 2011, Section 1-1912 regarding violations at nursing facilities licensed by the State Department of Health.

• Requires the State Department of Health to conduct exit conferences at the conclusion of inspections, surveys, or investigations to discuss preliminary findings with facility personnel.

• Mandates facilities receive a written list of preliminary areas of noncompliance with state requirements based on survey findings before the final report is issued.

• Requires any additional noncompliance identified during review of field notes or final report preparation be communicated to facility personnel by email or phone before the final report is issued.

• Effective date: November 1, 2014.
