Senate Bill 1476 Summary

• Amends 47 O.S. 2011, Section 6-117 to modify fees for motor vehicle reports and collision reports maintained by the Department of Public Safety.

• Reduces the fee for collision report copies from $15.00 to $7.00 effective July 1, 2013.

• Adjusts Motor Vehicle Report fees: reduces standard fee from $25.00 to $15.00 for commercial driver licenses, and adjusts distribution of fees between General Revenue Fund and Department of Public Safety Revolving Fund.

• Reduces fees charged by motor license agents when furnishing Motor Vehicle Reports, lowering agent fees and adjusting revenue distributions accordingly.

• Effective date: November 1, 2014.
