Senate Bill 1505 Summary

• State agencies are authorized to offer eligible employees voluntary payment for up to 200 hours of unused accrued annual leave, up to two times annually.

• Employees must retain a minimum of 120 hours of annual leave after any payment is made.

• Director of the Office of Management and Enterprise Services (OMES) shall appoint a committee to study the policy, develop rules, and establish employee eligibility criteria.

• OMES is directed to promulgate administrative rules necessary to implement the program.

• Effective date: November 1, 2014.
