SB 1530 Summary

• Amends 59 O.S. 2011, Section 1000.6 regarding the Construction Industries Board and its administrator position

• Removes the January 1, 2002 deadline requirement, changing "No later than January 1, 2002, and thereafter" to simply "Each time the position becomes vacant"

• Maintains that the Construction Industries Board shall hire a Construction Industries Administrator and may terminate employment upon majority vote

• Affirms the Administrator reports directly to the Board and assists in performance of its duties

• Effective date: November 1, 2014
