• Amends 59 O.S. 2011, Section 1151.3 relating to the Roofing Contractor Registration Act to clarify language requirements for contractor registration and business operations.

• Prohibits persons from engaging in roofing contractor business or bringing legal claims related to roofing work without valid registration under the Roofing Contractor Registration Act (59 O.S. Section 1151 et seq.).

• Establishes penalties including misdemeanor charges with fines up to $500 per violation for operating without registration or while registration is suspended/revoked.

• Allows suspension of registration and ineligibility for up to 12 months if multiple violations occur within a 12-month period.

• Effective date: November 1, 2014.
