Enrolled Senate Bill 1648 Summary

• Amends 75 O.S. 2011, Section 315 to expand agency subpoena powers to include both "proceedings" and "investigations."

• Agencies conducting investigations may require furnishing of information, attendance of witnesses, and production of books, records, papers, and other objects as necessary.

• Agencies may issue subpoenas and subpoenas duces tecum upon their own motion or upon request of any party appearing in an individual proceeding.

• Clarifies that subpoenas cannot be quashed if any party objects, and agencies must give notice to all parties before quashing.
