Senate Bill 1705 Summary

• Amends Oklahoma driver license application requirements under 47 O.S. 2011, Section 6-106 to require applicants to provide Federal Individual Tax Identification Number (ITIN) in addition to social security number.

• Modifies driver license application information requirements to add ITIN as item 13 in the list of required information (previously social security number was item 12).

• Becomes effective July 1, 2014, with an emergency clause declaring the measure necessary for immediate preservation of public peace, health and safety.
